The Ulster County Fair began in Ellenville, NY, in the late 1800s.
Created from postcards, photos and ephemera from EPL&M’s
extensive local history collection, this exciting exhibit celebrates
Ulster County heritage, agriculture and community.
On exhibit now through August 30, 2014

FIZZ! BOOM! READ!

 

Join our Summer Reading Club

 Preschool and Elementary aged kids will Fizz, Boom, Read! this summer @ EPL&M, and  kids in Middle and High School will Spark a Reaction as part of the 2014 Summer Reading Program at New York’s Libraries. All you have to do is spend 20 minutes a day reading for 20 days (or more!) and you’ll get a new book to keep as a prize.Complete  10 science explorations by summer’s end to win a science prize.You can enter drawings for weekly prizes, too,by completing short, easy book reviews and/or filling in special summer reading  bookmarks. We've got fire & ice, bubbles, stories, experiments and lots of fun planned. Teen readers canexplore ways to "Spark a Reaction" with creative (and crazy) crafts! See you this summer, for some “explosive” reading!
